Veruit de meeste mensen in Nederland hebben als abonnement voor een streamingsdienst gekozen voor Netflix, maar ook Disney+ timmert flink aan de weg. Ze hebben natuurlijk een enorm voordeel van het hebben van alle Star Wars en Marvel-films en een hoop andere Disney-gedoe waar veel kinderen naar willen kijken. Maar voor veel volwassenen was er eigenlijk nooit heel veel interessants te vinden. Tenminste, veel minder dan wanneer je op onze oude vertrouwde streamingsdienst zat te speuren naar nieuwe titels om te bingen. Er gaan namelijk een heleboel films en series vanuit Disney’s creatieve studio’s komen waar bijvoorbeeld Disney Television Studios (20th Television en ABC Signature), FX Productions en 20th Century Studios onder vallen. Dat belooft dus veel goeds.
Disney+ beter aanbod dan Netflix?
Sinds 23 februari heeft de dienst al 315 films en series toegevoegd aan de selectie voor de kijkers thuis. Daarmee begint het een steeds serieuzere concurrent te worden voor Netflix. Er staan momenteel al series op zoals: How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Prison Break, 24, Desperate Housewives, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Scrubs en nog veel meer. Ook klassiekers als Alien, Braveheart en Deadpool-films staan erop. Maar voor de volledige lijst kun je hieronder terecht:
